Terms & Conditions
Information about enquiries, quotations and website development services
1. About us
PWT Digital Europe is the trading name of Philip Mark Johnson, a sole trader. The UK address shown below is a correspondence address. These terms concern our website design, online store development, multilingual website and related services.
2. Quotations and acceptance
An enquiry or quotation does not by itself create a contract. The services, deliverables, price, payment schedule and estimated timeframe must be agreed in writing before work begins. Any agreed project proposal or service agreement takes precedence where it expressly differs from these general terms.
3. Project scope and changes
We carry out the work described in the agreed proposal. Requests for additional pages, functions, translations, revisions or integrations may require a revised quotation and schedule. We will seek approval before charging for additional work.
4. Client materials and cooperation
Clients are responsible for supplying accurate business details, content, logos, images and necessary permissions to use materials. Delays in providing information, access or approvals may affect the project timetable. Clients should review and approve final content, product details and legal information before launch.
5. Payments and third-party costs
Payment amounts, due dates and any deposit are stated in the individual quotation or invoice. Domain registration, hosting, Shopify subscriptions, paid apps, payment-provider fees and other third-party services are separate unless expressly included in writing. We will identify known third-party costs in advance where reasonably possible.
6. Revisions, testing and launch
The number of included revisions, approval stages and launch assistance will be set out in the project agreement. Clients should test their website and report issues during the agreed review period. Launch timing can depend on platform access, domain settings, third-party providers and client approval.
7. Intellectual property and access
Clients must have the rights to materials they provide. Ownership or licensing of custom work, themes, code, imagery and other deliverables is governed by the agreed project terms and applicable third-party licences. We do not transfer ownership of Shopify, themes, fonts, stock assets or other third-party products beyond the rights granted by their respective licences.
8. Third-party services
Websites may rely on Shopify, hosting companies, domain registrars, payment providers, apps or other external services. Their separate terms and service availability apply. We cannot guarantee uninterrupted operation of third-party systems.
9. Cancellations and refunds
Cancellation and refund requests are assessed under our Cancellation & Refund Policy, the individual agreement and applicable law. Nothing in these terms removes statutory rights that cannot legally be excluded.
10. Liability and legal rights
We aim to perform agreed services with reasonable care and skill. We do not guarantee particular search rankings, sales, revenue or website traffic. Any contractual limits on liability must be agreed separately and will not apply where prohibited by law, including liability that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Changes and disputes
We may update these general website terms for future engagements. Existing contracts remain subject to their agreed terms unless the parties lawfully agree otherwise. Applicable law and dispute arrangements depend on the contract and mandatory consumer protections; no particular jurisdiction is imposed by this page.
